Yes, you can, but there are guidelines to follow (see below). Also, any person 16 or under, we will not put a tattoo below the elbow (i.e., forearm, wrist or hand), above the collar (i.e., neck, face or behind the ear), or chest, under breast, upper ribs area on females. For 17-year-old, it will be discussed with the artist and at their discretion if they want to do artwork in these areas. Please call us if you have any questions.

MINORS:

State regulations establish that any person receiving tattoo or piercing services that is under the age of 18 years old be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and present a birth certificate. In addition, both parties must present a valid photo ID that includes a name and photo. Expired or severely damaged IDs will not be accepted. The parent’s name must also be listed on the birth certificate. If the minor is accompanied by a legal guardian instead of a birth parent, court documents must also be presented that list the names of both the guardian and the minor and must be signed by an authority figure along with their seal. It is preferred that these papers have been filed in the court system. Unless they have legally adopted the minor or have court-confirmed custody, stepparents, grandparents, or other family members are not considered legal guardians, even though the minor may reside with them. It is strongly suggested that parents and guardians take their child to the DMV and get a state issued Identification Card if they do not already have a Driver’s License or a Learner’s Permit. PARENT MUST STAY IN BOOTH DURING THE ENTIRE SESSION!

The Studio reserves the right to refuse to provide services to any person or persons that do not meet these requirements.

Requests for quotes are made via text message at 318-750-2527. We do not give quotes over the phone. Please do not just show up at the shop asking for a quote. It is not fair to the client with an appointment who has paid for the artist’s time for you to interrupt the artist for a quote. Please be courteous. You would not want someone to interrupt the creative process or take up the artists time during your appointment, would you? Please call us if you have any questions.

There are times when we do have walk-in availability, but it is recommended that you have an appointment.  If you choose to come in before texting, please understand if you are told you will need to text for a quote and an appointment.  Please call us if you have any questions.

Requests for appointments are made via text message at 318-750-2527. You can come into the shop to make an appointment ONLY IF you already have requested a quote. A quote is REQUIRED to schedule an appointment. The only exception is for a consultation appointment. The scheduler will send you a proposed appointment time. You will have 2 hours after the text is sent to accept the appointment time or it may be offered to the next person. After you agree on a date and time for an appointment, you will be required to pay a deposit. A deposit is REQUIRED for an appointment. The only exception is for a consultation appointment. All tattoo appointments (except consultations) will require a nonrefundable deposit to confirm the appointment being booked.  The Scheduler determines the amount of deposit required.  Any offer of an appointment is NOT confirmed until the deposit has been received.  DEPOSITS ARE NONREFUNDABLE.  Please call us if you have any questions.

Deposits protect you and the artist by reducing the number of No Shows. When you schedule an appointment with an artist, time is blocked off just for you. If you do not show up, the artist loses money. DEPOSITS ARE NONREFUNDABLE. Please call us if you have any questions.

We require that you give a minimum of 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.  IF YOUR APPOINTMENT IS SCHEDULED FOR MORE THAT 5 HOURS, WE REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 72 HOURS TO RESCHEDULE. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.  You will receive 3 automated reminder texts at 72, 48 and 24 hours prior to your appointment.  If you need to reschedule, simply reply with “Reschedule” and our scheduler will be in touch to find you another appointment.  If you do not give appropriate notice, you will be required to send a new deposit to re-book your appointment as you will be considered a “No Show”.  After 2 “No Shows”, you will be required to pay a deposit equal to half the quote of the tattoo.  DEPOSITS ARE NONREFUNDABLE.  Please call us if you have any questions.

Yes! Each client must have a VALID PHOTO ID to receive services. Valid means that the ID has a recognizable photograph, is not broken or severely damaged, shows no signs of tampering, and is not expired. We will accept your ID on LAWallet. For minors, it is recommended that they at least have a State issued Identification Card. However, a school issued photo ID may be acceptable provided it has the minor’s name (as it is on their Birth Certificate), a photo, and was issued for the current school year. If you have any questions about whether what you have is acceptable, feel free to text photographs of what you have to the shop at 318-750-2527 and we will review it prior to your appointment. The Studio and its management reserve the right to refuse to accept any forms of identification as valid at their discretion.

IMPORTANT NOTES ON MINOR PIERCINGS: Lobes – We will NOT pierce infant lobes or any child under the age of 4 or 5 years old. At any age under 18, especially 4-14, the piercer will require a face-to-face chat with the child to determine if they are able to give consent before determining if she will do the piercing.
